Wonder

Now and then I think of old friends

How they are and where they have been

Across the state or on the other end

They can’t all be far but then again

Do I recall them for who they are

Dare I keep my distance and stay afar

To wander into a thought after such wonder

Makes one remember a memory far less fonder
