FAKE

Photo by Vitolda Klein on Unsplash

No mere mate you are, plenty’s the proof:
Though in your eye a log did lie,
From its pain you managed to stand aloof,
Just to remove a speck in my eye.
You’re the best acting friend I’ve ever had.
Who can played Brutus better?
You really deserve an Oscar award,
For that splendid performance as Iscariot the traitor.
How kind of you to kindly kick me,
In the teeth when I was on all fours.
Who else could’ve voluntarily offered to be
The de facto broadcaster of my famous flaws?
Though fatally fickle, you still stand my best friend,
`Cause in you, caustic colours do beautifully blend.
