The end of the semester is upon us. This next week is going to be rough for me. I’ve got projects due, quizzes, and a bunch of homework. On the bright side, I only have a few finals this semester. It’s definitely a far cry from last semester when I was balancing 18 credits with a job. And that wasn’t with labs, just a whole-hog six classes. Nevertheless, this will probably be the most critical week of this entire semester aside from finals.
There really is no secret to managing all of it. You just have to start early and stay on top of things. It’s a little late for that kind of advice, but there’s no other way around it. Any type of safety measure is founded in levels of redundancy. Think of proactivity as your safety net. If you forfeit that, you may still get the job done but you’d be relying solely on your tolerance for stress and immediate ability to troubleshoot.
Make no mistake, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m the chief of sinners in this regard. It’s an ongoing struggle and we’ve all had times when we wish we could just turn back the clock. If that’s you, then you can at least take solace in the fact that you’re not alone.
