Starting from my childhood bedroom in the suburbs of Philadelphia — the conflicts of youth, attachment, and relationships are at the root of my music. Listening to my discography should be therapeutic and comforting. A fragile take on heavy and hard-to-deal-with situations. Music is an outlet for me to get out all of the things I hold inside. All of the emotions that I could never put into words evolve into music. Tactile emotions. Deep diving into my own psyche and reliving core memories. Dealing with topics such as first loves, heartbreak, divorce, tackling relationships as a whole, trauma, and the future of my music will continue to revolve around anything life throws at me. I’ve started experimenting with other music topics such as confidence and sex, expanding and maturing my music as I do in real-time. As an artist, I am focused mostly on lyrics and melody. Utilizing guitar, simple beats, and my strongest instrument: my voice. My music is completely revolved around me and usually from my perspective, Although I am beginning to experiment with storytelling songs that push the boundaries of perspective. I’ve begun to challenge myself with different writing techniques to get different sounds and styles. In general, my sound is singer/songwriter, bedroom pop, indie, and/or “soft girl” sound and aesthetic. I take pride in being so vulnerable in my music and hope to create a safe space for people to connect with my emotions and their own. I was always told I was “too emotional” or “crazy” and I want my music to hug those who have been told the same things. I want to be a platform for others to feel understood.
